Replacement Filters
An important feature of water ionizers is the quality of the replacement filters. The most effective water filters are active charcoal based. A good charcoal is able to filter over 99.9% of toxins from the water, which is why charcoal filters are used in all the ionizers listed here.
The better quality charcoal filters are graded to 1 Microns, which will filter out all microbes as well as the chemicals and pollutants. A 0.1 micron water filter is even finer, and is the ideal filter for tap water filtration.
